I had a lovely time in Melbourne recently. Moving my touring venue back to the CBD from South Yarra was the right move. I love the vibrance and fever of Melbourne City. So many great cafe’s and restaurants to pop in for a quick snack or a full blown fine dining experience. I absolutely LOVE bagels. It was a passion derived from living in NYC where a ‘smear’ is actually half a tub of cream cheese by Aussie standards. Cinnamon and Raisin bagel with cream cheese is a nostalgic delight for me and I must say that I ate bagels every day of my recent tour! But it was so very cold in Melbourne, and having been enjoying the mildest winter in a generation in Sydney I did not pack very well and had to wear two sweaters every time I left the hotel for food.
