First day back in Australia was December 1st, the sun was shining so hard I hardly felt the jet lag from arriving home at 6am after 24 hours of flying. I went straight out for breakfast, great coffee and happy to see the familiar faces of my home. As the sun reached its peak around midday I made my dream come true of a swim in the ocean, driving to Bondi Beach I stretched out my pasty winter body, softened by a 3 week holiday in wintery Europe, and gave it all up for a nice “First day at the beach” seasoning.
Next, I went for a short jog. The beach was heaving with tourists and yet I still found a free 2 hour park (only sydneysiders will understand what a genuine blessing this is).
It’s easy to let yourself go when you’re travelling/ studying/ working or trying to do any combination or all. Two weeks home and I am fit, tanned and toned and ecstatic about the holidays!
I am in Sydney until the 24th then going bush until the 30th.
I’m flying to Melbourne on Monday and I hope to see some of you then. If you are wondering what I’ll be asking Santa for this year, the answer is….. I literally can’t think of anything. I hate Christmas! But I will have my own playspace opening up in Sydneys inner west January 14 so perhaps a grand opening bottle of something to add to my bar would be fun for both of us.
I am working over NYE from 10am on the 31st until 9pm on the 1st, Sydney incall or my usual rate of 2 hours outcall to your hotel.
Be safe and Happy New Year!
